Farming Industry Sensor Solutions
Nowadays, the mechanization of farming, the efficiency of farming has been gradually improved, and the scale of farming is expanding day by day. However, with the continuous expansion of the scale of farming, ammonia, sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and other toxic and harmful gases are increasing day by day, which brings bad influence to the atmospheric environment and the gas safety of the farm.
Point 1: Ammonia
Ammonia is a colorless and irritatingly smelly gas. Ammonia on farms is produced by the decomposition of organic matter such as feces, urine, feed and bedding. Ammonia is easily soluble in water, often dissolved in the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract and conjunctiva of the eyes of livestock, can cause inflammation of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract and conjunctiva of the eyes of livestock, and in serious cases, cause necrotizing bronchitis, pulmonary edema, cloudy eyes and blindness and other diseases. In addition, because of the high concentration of Ammonia, it can reduce and destroy the resistance of livestock or resistance to disease, and induce the occurrence of some diseases, and it is more difficult to cure the disease.
Point 2: Carbon Dioxide.
Carbon Dioxide is a colorless, odorless gas with a sour taste. Carbon Dioxide itself is non-toxic and harmless, but the high content of Carbon Dioxide in the farm will cause the lack of nutrients in the body of the livestock, resulting in weakness, loss of appetite, shrinkage, weight loss and increased morbidity.
Point 3: Hydrogen Sulfide.
Hydrogen Sulfide is a colorless, malodorous and toxic gas. Hydrogen Sulfide in the farm comes from the decomposition of sulfur-containing organic matter, when livestock feed high protein feed, not fully digested, can produce and discharge a large amount of Hydrogen Sulfide, not only reduces productivity, but also affects the health of livestock, directly caused by or triggered by the respiratory system, conjunctival diseases. The long-term existence of low concentration of Hydrogen Sulfide can cause chronic poisoning. High concentration of Hydrogen Sulfide is a very strong nerve agent, can directly cause respiratory center inhibition, so that livestock suffocation death.
