Air Quality Sensor Solutions

There are mainly 5 kinds of harmful substances in home decoration which are very harmful to human body, they are formaldehyde, benzene, ammonia, radon and TVOC, which are more harmful to the old people and children, and what we usually know is formaldehyde and VOC.

VOC :

VOC, volatile organic compounds, has a huge impact on human health. When VOC in the living room reaches a certain concentration, people will feel headache, nausea, vomiting, fatigue in a short time, and when it is serious, there will be convulsions, coma, and it will hurt the human liver, kidney, brain and nervous system, resulting in memory loss and other serious consequences.

Formaldehyde :

When Formaldehyde in the room reach a certain concentration, people have a sense of discomfort, more than 0.08m³ of formaldehyde concentration can cause eye redness, itchy eyes, throat discomfort or pain, hoarseness, sneezing, chest tightness, asthma, dermatitis and so on. Newly renovated rooms with high levels of formaldehyde are the main cause of numerous diseases.

PM2.5 :

Particulate matter is also known as particles, PM2.5. Particulate matter refers to particles in ambient air with an aerodynamic equivalent diameter of less than or equal to 2.5 micrometers. It can be suspended in the air for a long time, and the higher its concentration in the air, the more serious the air pollution.

Particulate matter is more harmful to human health because the smaller the diameter, the deeper it enters the respiratory tract. 10 μm diameter particulate matter is usually deposited in the upper respiratory tract, while particulate matter with a diameter of less than 2 μm penetrates deeper into the fine bronchial tubes and alveoli. Fine particulate matter into the body to the alveoli, directly affecting the ventilation function of the lungs, so that the body is easy to be in a state of hypoxia.
