GS137 Formaldehyde Sensor

The sensor contains a conventional two-electrode fuel cell sensor inside. The working electrode releases electrons to the counting electrode via an external circuit and is consumed at the counting electrode end as oxygen is reduced, and the internal circuit is realized by ion flow in the electrolyte.

This electrochemical formaldehyde Gas Sensor is a true continuous monitoring sensor that does not require any gas sampling or pumping. It is suitable for use in most environments (-20℃~+50℃).

This sensor has five major design and structural features:

1. Low cost

Simple design and construction and few components to reduce its cost, resulting in a more competitive price.

2. Long life

It uses the components of the breath alcohol sensor, which has been used for more than 30 years in the world, combined with the industrial electrochemical Gas Sensor principle. The accuracy, stability and longevity of the breath alcohol sensor have been verified. At the same time using industrial electrochemical Gas Sensor design makes the sensor more adaptable to a variety of extreme conditions such as high temperature and high humidity and low temperature and low humidity environment.

3. Fast response

A short and low impedance diffusion path makes its response time is very short.

4. Low power requirements

The fuel cell principle means that it does not require a power supply to stimulate, only in the processing and display of the signal requires electrical energy, so just a simple small battery unit is enough.

5. Good stability

Very good stability, allowing very long calibration intervals during use.
