Character:

1. Sensitivity

Discrete of Gas Sensor lead to its poor interchangeability, thus calibrate one by one is required during application. Calibration is adjust potentiometer in test circuit in the standard gas.

2. Characteristic of temperature and humidity

Gas Sensor may be affected by ambient temperature and humidity, compensation for temperature and humidity often added in applications that require higher precision and reliability to achieve better results.

3. Heating characteristics

Gas Sensor need to work in a heated state, heating temperature affect its performance. The stabilized power supply unit for sensor power supply is necessary.

4. Initial recovery characteristics

When Gas Sensor stored in the power off state, it could not work normally immediately. The initial recovery time is also long if sensor stored for a long time with power off, but usually it is normal within a few minutes 

Thus we suggest you set the delay sampling circuit malfunction eliminate this phenomenon.

Caution:

1. Calibrate the Gas Sensor after 48 hours of aging (connect power supply for 48 hours).

2. Sensitivity calibration shall be carried out in an environment without intrusive gas.

3. The gas sensor has a good resistance to shock, but do not let it suffer excessive vibration.

4. Do not let the pins under large force to avoid its deformation and distortion.

5. Do not apply force to the explosion-proof metal mesh to avoid its deformation.

6. If you need precise measurement, such as in industrial applications, you need to make calibration regularly (at least annually).

7. Do not break or change elements of any part of the sensor, do not use it if the explosion-proof metal mesh damaged, it may cause an explosion or fire.

8. Use only in a specified condition or atmosphere, if you want to use in special space, please contact us.

9. Do not allow sensor exposure to gas with high concentrations, otherwise it may lead to rapid attenuation of sensitivity.
