Carbon monoxide sensor for safer home

Bathrooms, a high incidence of carbon monoxide poisoning, are more serious in winter.

Every year, we can see the news about incidents of carbon monoxide poisoning due to bathing. When taking a bath, some people will keep the bathroom doors and windows closed, which is not a problem in itself, but they will put liquefied petroleum gas cylinders and water heaters inside the bathroom, which is dangerous. By incomplete combustion, gas generates carbon monoxide and reduces the amount of oxygen in the room. If the windows are not opened in time to ventilate and evacuate the carbon monoxide, then the indoor bathers will produce dizziness, poisoning and even asphyxiation due to lack of oxygen. Poisoning is not aware of, will inhale more carbon monoxide, produce serious neurological damage and life-threatening.

For bathroom bathing, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders should be placed outside the house, and water heaters should be installed outside the bathroom to avoid insufficient combustion to produce carbon monoxide.

In addition to the basic measures to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning, carbon monoxide detection alarms should be installed indoors for early detection and prevention.

Carbon monoxide detection alarms need to be installed with a carbon monoxide sensor in order to perform gas detection work. When the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air exceeds the standard, carbon monoxide alarm will be alarm prompts, and through the panel control automatically cut off the gas source, linkage to open the exhaust system, to eliminate potential safety hazards. Carbon monoxide sensors, most of the electrochemical detection principle, detection speed, and lower cost, and other technologies can be used jointly.
